Move the license after the agreement.
Select the license you hold to see the correct DRE route. Puffin Lane supplies its responsible-broker information only when your agreement and billing steps are ready.
Your route
Change your responsible broker.
- Sign in to the California DRE eLicensing system.
- Choose Change Responsible Broker from the salesperson menu.
- Enter the responsible broker or corporation license identification supplied by Puffin Lane after your agreement and billing are ready.
- Review the information and submit the request for broker certification.
- Wait for Puffin Lane to certify the affiliation, then confirm the effective affiliation in your DRE record before conducting licensed activity through the brokerage.
Your prior affiliation ending and your Puffin Lane affiliation becoming effective are distinct events. Do not represent that you are affiliated with Puffin Lane, or conduct licensed activity through it, until the new affiliation is certified and effective in the DRE record.
